Corey Taylor canceled his upcoming North American solo tour, citing personal reasons.
On Friday, January 5, the Slipknot singer delivered a heartbreaking announcement to his fans based in the U.S. as he will no longer be able to proceed with his tour leg. He told them that those who bought tickets can request refunds.

Taylor took to Instagram to upload his official statement regarding the cancelation, revealing that he reached an "unhealthy" place that affected his schedule.
"it is with a heavy heart that i announce the cancellation of my upcoming north american tour," he said. "for the past several months my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and i reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and i."
Taylor continued: "i know this decision will come as a shock to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others, but after taking a hard look at where i am and where i was going, i need to pull myself back and be home with my family."
He ended his post by expressing his hopes that he meets his fans in the future.
The North American tour was supposed to start in Toronto, Ontario, on February 3 and end in Omaha, Neb., on March 3.
Taylor previously predicted he only has less than five years left in the music industry due to his health issues.
