Lenny Kravitz does not have a speech prepared for his daughter Zoe Kravitz's upcoming wedding to Channing Tatum because he wants the words to come "from the heart."
"It just comes at the moment. I don't rehearse those things," the singer slash actor said, noting that he wants his speech to be as authentic as possible.
When asked about what he thought about his soon-to-be son-in-law, Tatum, Kravitz did not hesitate to express his excitement to welcome him into the family.
"I do love him," Kravitz said. "We're good friends. A lot of mutual respect. And my daughter's happy."
While Zoe and Tatum have yet to publicly confirm their engagement, their wedding is an open secret.
"He's a great guy. We're very close, and we have a great line of communication," the "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over" singer added. "We hang out like you hang out with your family. We're together whenever we can."
Lenny Kravitz Maintains God Relationships Across the Board
Tatum is not the only person Kravitz has a connection with in terms of his family; the singer's ex-wife, actor Lisa Bonet re-married Jason Momoa, and although the couple is now headed for divorce, Kravitz is still in good terms with his ex-wife's soon-to-be ex-husband.
"They were laughing and joking a lot," an eyewitness shared about the "Aquaman" star's recent interaction with the "The Hunger Games" actor. "They hugged when they first saw each other and it was obvious they had a really good rapport."
According to reports, Bonet and Momoa announced their split two years ago, but they recently announced that they are officially getting divorced recently.
