Sharon Osbourne has disclosed her painful struggle with suicidal thoughts following the shocking revelation of her husband Ozzy Osbourne's extramarital affair in 2016.

Between 2012 and 2016, Ozzy and Michelle engaged in a relationship hidden from the public eye. This clandestine affair caused a temporary separation between Ozzy and his long-time wife, Sharon.
Reflecting on the pain she endured during this tumultuous period, Sharon recently opened up about a dark moment in her life, via the Daily Mail.
"He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that. But when he knows the name of the person, where they live, and where they work... it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don't know how many pills."
Sharon went on to say, "I just thought 'My kids are older, they are fine and can take care of themselves.' So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me."
In 2016, Sharon bravely shared with her loyal viewers the moment she uncovered the unsettling truth about Ozzy's actions during an episode of her talk show "The Talk." At that defining moment, Sharon publicly announced her decision to separate from the famed Black Sabbath musician, whom she had married back in 1982.

But in a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Sharon, in 2019, Ozzy expressed his profound admiration for her strength and forgiveness following the turbulent period caused by his affair.
He told The Sun, "Sharon and I have never been as close as we are now. It's great. Sharon has been a god."
"We all make mistakes. I'm lucky she took me back. Sometimes I sit there and go, 'What the f--k was I thinking?' I won't understand why it happened until the day I die."
In the 2017 interview with the Telegraph, Sharon made a bold revelation about Ozzy's infidelity, disclosing that there were numerous women he had betrayed her with.
"He had women in different countries. If you're a woman giving Ozzy either a back rub or a trolley of food, God help you."
