    Before TiVo and onscreen menus that showed program schedules days in advance, you had to hunt for your favorite holiday movies. It was absolutely thrilling. There was a whole process for finding a time for "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's a Wonderful Life." And a constant in all of the specials is great holiday music. "Home Alone" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" made the cut on our list, but here's a few honorable mentions to get things started.

He created another character on the hit show, which was the episode-ending montages that were often some of contemporary music's most-beloved songs.Well, that never scared Thiele, The Forest Rangers or vocal guests like Curtis Stigers and Paul Brady away. They reworked the tunes to complement scenes of graphic violence and inner turmoil.The question is, what is in store for tonight's finale?Here is a look back at some of the finer musical moments from the show:

    Last night, in support of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1," New Zealand's biggest music star Lorde went onto "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" to discuss the project, perform her main contribution to the album, "Yellow Flicker Beat" and discuss how she was Taylor Swift's manager for a day. The "Royals" star gave an inspired performance, highlighted by her jarring stage movements.She then sat down with Fallon to cheerily discuss the project and note how difficult it was to make. She shares the story of how she became Taylor Swift's manager for a day at the Grammys and shows off her "There is someone famous" face. Lorde also discusses the recording and release of "Royals," telling the story of how she stuck to her convictions and released the track despite the meddling of a label, via "Consequence of Sound."The "Royals" star was given the incredibly daunting task of curating the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" soundtrack earlier this year and managed to assemble an all-star cast to put together a group of songs that captured the essence of the film.

    "Frozen's" success has been staggering. Though it is no longer in theaters, its box office success was the fifth largest ever, according to the BBC, and it has sustained sales since the end of last year until now with DVD and soundtrack sales, notably being the only album, besides Taylor Swift's, to sell 1 million copies in 2014. It has inspired plenty of covers, including a Movember-themed one, remixes and mashups as well, and now because the Internet we have a must-watch Breaking Bad version of one of Frozen's songs, "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" via "Huffington Post."Taking two of the most popular cinematic pieces that have been released in the past two years and mashing them together is a genius idea. It is surprising it took this long to happen. The video is well-done, with quality cartoon animation that captures many different themes of the show, like the fly in the lab. The lyrics are written right in rhythm with the instrumental of "Frozen" that somehow makes the theme of cooking meth sound so cheery and happy.
