• Chris Brown, Tyga Share 'Ayo' Lyric Video [WATCH]

Chris Brown and Tyga have shared the lyric video for their recent "Fan of a Fan 2" single "Ayo," which you can check out below. The video is edited to look like a jittery VHS tape, and being a hip-hop video there are also plenty of images of cash, cars, diamonds, champagne and nearly naked women. There is plenty to keep your eyes busy, since the lyrics are not really anything to brag about.
  • Zedd & Calvin Harris in Studio Together - Is a Collaboration in the Works?

Two of the biggest producers in the dance space are apparently working together. Zedd posted a picture on Twitter yesterday of him and Calvin Harris in the studio with the caption "Studio with this dawg called Calvin Harris." At the same time Calvin Harris posted the same picture, saying, "Listening to new zedd w/tropical fruits."
  • Aphex Twin Shares New Song 'Diskhat ALL Prepared1mixed' from New EP [LISTEN]

Tomorrow, Jan. 23, electronic artist Aphex Twin — aka Richard D. James — will be releasing his new EP "Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments PT 2," but today he has offered a small taste of the EP by sharing a remix of its opening track "Diskhat ALL Prepared1mixed 13" through his newly created SoundCloud page, which you can check out below. The track is relatively low-key and moody, with some krautrock-inspired percussion and an emphasis on the space between notes as much as the notes themselves. As the title of the EP implies, the track seems to be rooted in acoustic instruments such as drums and piano, which have then been manipulated by computers. You can't really dance to it — do people really dance to Aphex Twin? — but it is still incredible.
  • Burial Shares Ghostly New Single "Temple Sleeper" [LISTEN]

Enigmatic dubstep artist, Burial, has released his new single, "Temple Sleeper," through Keysound, which you can check out here. Like Burial's greatest songs, "Temple Sleeper" is a ghostly dance number with a propulsive beat and muddled vocal samples, though unfortunately it's all over in under three minutes. Burial fans will not be disappointed.

  • No Offense to LL Cool J, but 5 Other Options for Grammy Hosting: Beyoncé, Steven Colbert, Blake Shelton and More

Today the Recording Academy confirmed that LL Cool J will be the host at The Grammys when they go down on February 8. It was hardly a surprise to anyone who's paid attention in recent years: The emcee has hosted the event every year since 2012. That said, it's tough to blame the Academy and CBS for not wanting to shake things up: Although the performer will have now hosted 10 times, the recent results don't lie. The previous three years have featured, respectively, the no. 1, 3, and 2 highest viewerships since the '80s (the 2012 edition got a boost from those tuning in after Whitney Houston's death).

As Stereogum notes, the "Blurry" singer has a lengthy rap sheet that includes alleged domestic abuse, chainsawing a patio and taking a swim in an off-limits pool at Graceland. He kept the streak alive recently at the Denver International Airport after riding the baggage carousel and going into a secured zone.

Hot on the heels of yesterday, Jan. 21's video release for The Weeknd's "Earned It," Ellie Goulding has unveiled the visuals to her song for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack "Love Me Like You Do." The Max Martin-produced single is another strong effort from the "Outside" singer, as Goulding channels the themes of sex and lust within the film to create an upbeat, sensual pop tune with a bombastic chorus as Ellie Goulding croons, "Love me like you do / Touch me like you do / What are you waiting for."
