It's an attempt to create a hybrid of all of the music I love and all [the] music I have been inspired by throughout all of these years, and I have made them into songs. I am not trying to do pop. A lot of producers are trying to go towards the whole EDM/pop clash, and this is different. It's more indie, melancholic, darker, but still some big songs," he said. The pair try and peel back the many layers on the difficult topic on creativity in dance music today and why there seems to be something lacking from many new producers.Talking about his comments to "Mixmag," Angello said DJs should pay their dues in clubs and that club culture is still important to dance music. -
