Move over, Jason Aldean, because Eric Church is joining the platinum party. The singer recently became the second country artist to reach the 1-million mark for albums sold in 2014 with "The Outsiders." Church is only the fifth artist this year to hit the milestone. Aldean, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Sam Smith were all certified platinum previously and the soundtrack for Disney's "Frozen" received the honor as well.As Church's website notes, "The Outsiders," released Feb. 11, sold 288,000 copies in its first week. It went straight to No. 1 on the "Billboard" 200 and Top Country Albums charts. Church received four Grammy nods, including Country Album of the Year, Country Song of the Year, Country Solo Performance of the Year and Country Group/Duo of the Year.The Outsiders also won the Album of the Year honor at the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards recently. He stressed the importance of albums during his acceptance speech. -

Actors from The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will perform scenes from The Bard’s great tragedy while selections from Prokofiev’s "Romeo and Juliet" are performed. -

Bay Area rapper Lil B claims he has been temporarily banned by Facebook for "hate speech" following tweets about racism weeks after his MIT lecture.The self-proclaimed "Based God" took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on various things, including racism, animal rights and slavery. He called out America and those citizens who partake in or fail to defend the mistreatment of humans and animals. The tweets reportedly showed up on his Facebook page.With no hesitation, B began his series of tweets with: "If you were born in the 1950's or before and your family did not push to have segregation and slavery stop ur grandparents are p---y."Following the post, Facebook blocked the "Wonton Soup" rapper. -

Caribou Announces World Tour, North American Dates Starting in February [FULL SCHEDULE]
Electronica band Caribou has announced a world tour for 2015 in support of their latest album "Our Love." Following January and February dates in Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan, the Dan Snaith-fronted group will embark on a brief North American tour Feb. 26, hitting Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. After a brief stint across Western Europe in mid-March, the band will return to North America April 11 for dates in Chicago, Minneapolis and various cities across central Canada. asdEven though he has no upcoming album or mixtape projects that we know about, Wiz Khalifa keeps dropping new songs, his latest being the exceptionally trippy and laidback "Smoke Chambers," which you can check out below. The song heavily samples fellow stoner Mac DeMarco's synthpop number "Chamber of Reflection" from his latest album Salad Days, even keeping DeMarco's original "alone again" vocal hook, which ties in to Khalifa's theme of the alienation his fame has brought him. This is the sort of hazy production that Khalifa should be using more often.
