Tim McGraw's new album, "Sundown Heaven Town," will be hitting stores on September 16, 2014. This weekend, during the Academy of Country Music Awards show, the country star will kick off a new and unique program called "Countdown to Sundown" to promote the album. When fans use their Shazam smartphone app during his performance on the show, they can join the Countdown program which gives them access to exclusive content and a chance to win a season pass for two tickets to each of Tim’s Sundown Heaven summer tour dates, including an all-expenses-paid trip to the opening-night show on May 8. -

On April 1, Jack White announced the details of his second solo LP, Lazaretto, due out via Third Man Records on June 10 and shared the instrumental track "High Ball Stepper." Now he's come up with a creative way to drop the album's first single and title track. Reggae performer Vybz Kartel gets life sentence for murder conviction
The trial of Jamaican reggae performer Vybz Kartel has ended with a life sentence being handed down for a conviction on charges of murder. The emcee's legal team will appeal the decision, which will add another six to 12 months onto the process, but if the decision is upheld, Kartel will face at least 35 years behind bars before getting the possibility of parole. -
