• Kanye West and Jay Z to perform together at South by Southwest

    Ready for a Watch the Throne comeback? Kanye West and Jay Z have announced a joint performance at South by Southwest this week. It will be their first time performing together on stage in two years. The Austin Chronicle reports that the duo will kick off Samsung's four-day concert series at the Austin Music Hall on Wednesday.

    EDM fans, except for the ones that hate Skrillex, were surprised to find Monday night that the dubstep DJ would be releasing a new album a lot sooner than they expected. As in, right at that moment. Those who had downloaded an app titled "Alien Ride" from Skrillex's website received access to a new track titled "All Is Fair In Love And Brostep." As the night continued, the other ten tracks from the album Recess were released, and previews became available on iTunes. The album is available for sale on March 18.

    Drake has been putting on OVO Fest in his hometown of Toronto for the past five years. Now Drake has plans to bring a festival to his "second home," Houston, Texas, in an event dubbed Houston Appreciation Weekend (HAW).

    Following his takeover of The Arsenio Hall Show, Prince stayed in Los Angeles to play two surprise performances at the Palladium this past weekend. His first set on Friday night featured just seven songs but Sunday he played a legendary, career-spanning set that lasted more than four hours and included five encores all totaling to nearly 60 songs. He played hits from Purple Rain and Sign O' the Times as well as well as material from The Family and The Time with a few unreleased songs thrown in the mix.
