Tests revealed the singer suffers from blood clots and a condition called thoracic outlet syndrome, which causes the muscles around her ribs to become enlarged after strenuous activity. After removing the clots with blood thinners, Braxton-Herbert underwent major surgery to have her rib removed and relieve pressure.

The three coworkers (and friends) chatted with hundreds of airmen and sailors, as well as their families, while touring the country. They also hosted free giveaways, an Empire Q & A and two parties open to those who serve and their entire families. As a cherry on top, the troops and their families were also treated to a concert featuring Smollett and Gray.

Producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan seem to have a lot of respect for Robinson as a artist, as evidenced by Zadan singing her praises after tapping her to do choreography for The Wiz.
