The band is slated to perform at the Gillette Stadium there on July 19 and 20, but unfortunately for them the town has a curfew of 11:15 P.M. for live music. Management’s request for the curfew to be prolonged until 11:40 P.M has officially been denied.

    Following his rained out Governor’s Ball performance, Kanye West’s last minute surprise show in NYC was also cancelled. West had aimed to have the show happen at 2 A.M. after he redirected fans from the rain-soaked grounds of Governor’s Ball to a 'Hot 97 Summer Jam' series, but unfortunately for the rapper a swarm of fans made it impossible for the venue to host his performance.
  • Corey Taylor Hospitalized for Broken Neck, Slipknot & Marilyn Manson Joint Tour Postponed

    The Slipknot and Marilyn Manson joint tour has been postponed due to frontman Corey Taylor’s hospitalization for a broken neck. He had apparently sustained the injury some time ago but hadn’t realized the severity until he was hospitalized. Reportedly, Taylor has to have two discs in his neck replaced in addition to a surgical procedure on his vertebrae.
  • Following Two Deaths at Sunset Music Festival, Tampa Mayor 'Reconsiders' Hosting Event

    Following two deaths at Sunset Music Festival, the Tampa Mayor is “reconsidering” hosting the event, which left 57 more hospitalized this past Memorial Day weekend. The festival was held at the Raymond James Stadium on May 28 and 29. A representative from St. Joseph’s Hospital reportedly told news station WLFA that the amount of overdoses that she saw over the weekend was “frightening.”
  • Tests Show 'Purple Rain' Singer Prince Died from an Opioid Overdose

    Tests have officially confirmed that Prince died from an opiod overdose, and the culprit was fentanyl. The “Purple Rain” singer was found collapsed in his Minnesota home on the morning of April 21. The test results were released by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office this past Thursday (June 2). It had widely suspected that Prince had died from opiod related causes, but it was just now officially confirmed.

The two, along with manager Louis Walsh, will replace Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw for the show’s 13th season, which had a ratings nosedive in last season’s finale although Adele, One Direction and Coldplay performed.

The Brooklyn rapper, real name Roland Collins, has been charged with attempted murder as well as criminal possession of a weapon at the incident this past Wednesday (May 31) in Irving Plaza in New York City. The shooting left three wounded and Collins’ bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, dead.

    In a new interview, Paul McCartney talked Oasis and said that comparing themselves to The Beatles in a 1996 MTV segment was “the kiss of death” for the up and coming band. The Oasis interview in 1996 was in regards to their two albums, 'Definitely Maybe' and '(What’s The Story) Morning Glory.' Noel Gallagher later admitted in the press that he was “high” when he gave that interview last year in 2015.

    An FBI investigation is currently underway to find Chris Cornell’s stalker, Jessica Robbins, who reportedly missed a court date in New York earlier this week. Robbins was slated to appear in court this past Tuesday (May 24) on charges of stalking the Soundgarden front man, but detached her GPS ankle monitor imposed in court and skipped out on the hearing.
