    It's understandable that Bono would be a little shaken up by the Eagles of Death Metal concert assault that occurred this in Paris past Friday night (November 13). The band had been rehearsing for their own HBO live-stream concert the next day at AccorHotels Arena, only a few miles away from the scene of the tragedy. They were only three miles away when news began to filter in about terrorist attacks in the city and the number of victims. When giving interviews on the massacre after the fact Bono acknowledged that "these are our people," in regards to the fans of live music slaughtered during the terrorist attack.
  • Rogers Media Executive Who Claims Republic Records Uses Broadcast Favoritism Resigns

    The radio executive who claimed that Republic Records uses broadcast favoritism has reportedly resigned. Rob Farina, who was the vice president of programming and content for Rogers Media, sent out a letter to all other Canadian broadcasters last Friday (Nov. 6) requesting that they boycott the record label and their artists. It was mailed to Canadian broadcasters Corus, Newcap and Cojeco amongst others.

    U2 cancelled their live HBO concert in France following the Paris attacks this past Friday (Nov. 13). They were reportedly a very short distance from the shootings where an estimated 118 citizens were killed in a premeditated attack at The Eagles of Death Metal concert.

Although a great number of bands have been canceling shows in the wake of the tragedy, Bieber just dropped his latest album, 'Purpose,' this past Friday (Nov. 13) and kicked of its release with his event, "An Evening With Justin Bieber," at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

They cancelled their event on extremely short notice in deference to those who suffered in the attacks in Paris which included a mass shooting at an Eagles of Death Metal concert.

    His Beliebers will be thrilled. Justin Bieber's new 'Purpose' album came early this month and will be able to be streamed in next Wednesday (Nov. 11). The full album includes Hot 100 hits "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?" He has also enlisted the help of some red hot collaborators, including Nas on the track "We Are," Halsey on "The Feeling" and Travi$ Scott for "No Sense."

    In a new interview with host JoJo Wright of KIIS-FM radio Gwen Stefani talks her new emotionally charged song "Used To Love You" and what inspired it. It is largely believed to be about her ex Gavin Rossdale and during the questionnaire the singer subtley confirms that the assumptions may just be dead on. The two filed for divorce over the summer after 13 years and three children together. Stefani also recently confirmed that she is dating her co-host on 'The Voice,' country singer Blake Shelton.

    Azealia Banks has now cancelled her second string of tour dates in one year. The "212" rapper had scheduled a tour during November that was due to begin at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia and end at House Of Blues in Dallas. Banks took to Twitter to announce that all of her dates were cancelled aside from an appearance at Terminal 5 in New York.

    An arrest has been made in the stabbings case at Wu Tang Clan member RZA's home in New Jersey. The stabbings occurred in the wee hours of this past Saturday (Nov. 7) in Millstone Township. It remains unknown what led up to the disagreement that instigated the violent outburst. Reportedly, the two victims were treated at a local hospital and are expected to recover from the incident.

    RZA of Wu Tang Clan is now the center of a controversy. In the early hours of this past Saturday (Nov. 7) two stabbings occurred at his home in New Jersey. It is unknown as of yet whether RZA, real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, was present at the time of the stabbings but a police investigation is underway through the Major Crimes unit in order to figure out the reasons behind the incident.

The young singer was scheduled to be featured on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' but backed out at the last possible second.
