YouTube Will Host Inaugural Music Awards Show With Lady Gaga, Eminem and Arcade Fire
YouTube is getting its own music awards show. And that makes sense. Were it not for YouTube, artists such as Justin Bieber might never have been discovered. On Nov. 3, the online video moguls will launch the inaugural, 90-minute event live on New York City's Pier 36. -
'All is Lost' Sountrack, scored by Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, released today
The Soundtrack for Robert Redford's new film, All Is Lost, scored by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's frontman Alexander Ebert, was released today. The soundtrack features 10 original compositions and a new song with lyrics called, "Amen." All tracks were written, composed and produced by Ebert. This is Ebert's first solo release since 2011's Alexander. -

The Flaming Lips Will Drop Two EPs, A Collaboration With Tame Impala and a Sci-fi Concept Album Inspired by the Film 'Ender's Game'
Ever prolific, The Flaming Lips will be busy the next few months putting out two new EPs. For the first project, the Flaming Lips and Tame Impala will be covering each other songs. The second EP the band is working on is called Peace Sword, the first big release from the group since April's Terror. Right up the Flaming Lip's ally, the album is a sci-fi concept album inspired by the forthcoming film, Ender's Game, which comes out Nov. 1. -
