After winning multiple Grammy awards (both Latin and Anglo), the man who put the ronroco on the map made his way into the world of scoring movies and took home two Academy Awards for Best Original Score two years in a row (Brokeback Mountain and Babel). Gustavo's even made name for himself in the video game realm, composing the music to 2013's best title The Last of Us. Moving right along into the animated movie genre, Santaolalla's newest project, The Book of Life, just hit theaters this weekend. -

Saddle Creek Records' indie/folk outfit The Good Life has announced a four-date, California tour for August 2014. The band plans to perform its full catalog during these shows, which will be the first time the band has toured since 2010. -
Play Tokyo Police Club's arcade-style online video game while streaming 2014 record 'Forcefield'
Last month Canadian indie-pop rockers Tokyo Police Club released an arcade game tribute music video for the single "Hot Tonight." This music video featured classic arcade games given a modern twist and some had an adaptation closer to home for the band. One of those is now a playable online game involving a tour van destroying asteroids!
