The Academy of Country Music isn't one to wait until the last minute. The awards show occurred just last night (April 6) and the Academy has already announced the venue for next year's event. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and country musician George Strait took the stage during the ceremony and formally announced (if the former wasn't a strong hint) that AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX would host the 2015 ceremony. -

Swedish pop stalwart Robyn and Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp set up a website nearly four months ago stating their intents of performing a tour together during 2014. The pair of acts apparently decided that fans had endured enough suspense and formally released the official list of dates Monday. -

Dave Lamb, frontman for folk duo Brown Bird, has died after his leukemia came out of remission. His wife and fellow bandmate, MorganEve Swain, posted the news on his Facebook page Saturday evening. He was 35. -

Reggae performer Vybz Kartel gets life sentence for murder conviction
The trial of Jamaican reggae performer Vybz Kartel has ended with a life sentence being handed down for a conviction on charges of murder. The emcee's legal team will appeal the decision, which will add another six to 12 months onto the process, but if the decision is upheld, Kartel will face at least 35 years behind bars before getting the possibility of parole. -
