Goa, India, the ancestral home of trance music and the modern home for most of electronic music in India today has passed a crippling ordinance saying that during the busy holiday season, from Dec. 15, 2016 to Jan. 15, 2017, there will be no large-scale EDM festivals. -

A lot of it went to his T.R.U. Foundation and was donated in large portions to people in the Atlanta area in need. -

TBD Fest Co-Founder Sued For Fraud, Breach of Contract
TBD Fest co-founder Clay Nutting is being sued by Katrina Arnaud, a Sacramento-based certified public accountant for breach of contract and fraud. The lawsuit filed in Sacramento Superior Court on Dec. 9 on the behalf of Arnaud claims that Nutting took out a $200,000 loan from Arnaud and failed to pay it back. -
Skrillex Releases 'Stranger' Remix Video For Charity
Skrillex has released a brand new video for his song "Stranger" taken from his 2014 album Recess. The video is a bit different because it is a remix of his song, taking the glitchy original with Milo & Otis, Killagraham and Sam Dew and giving it a more subdued treatment with White Sea and Tennyson. In addition to the heartwarming accompanying video, Skrillex is giving 100 percent of proceeds from this song to charities that serve underprivileged and at risk children. -
