Mark McGrath is alive and well following a death hoax that spread throughout the social media universe today, Feb. 26. According to news reports, the creative consultancy firm Prismatics sent out a press release saying that the Sugar Ray singer was dead. The company later clarified that McGrath was "shot" during an episode of Adult Swim's "Hot Package." -
First Trailer for the Brian Wilson Biopic 'Love & Mercy' Drops: Clip Shows The Beach Boys Frontman's Creative Struggle [WATCH]
The first trailer for the new Brian Wilson biopic dropped recently. 'Love & Mercy' will highlight the iconic singer-songwriter's time with The Beach Boys as well as his period of mental unrest, creative struggle and eventual return to music. The movie was shown for the first time at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and is slated for a screening at South by Southwest in March. The Internet is at it again. A video surfaced recently that uses footage from the classic children's movie 'Mary Poppins' and syncs it up to some heavy metal. The estate of Bob Marley earned a big win in court recently as a judge has decided that there is too much confusion involved when consumers purchase clothing with the reggae great's likeness. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the decision could be good news for other musicians and celebrities whose picture is used on merchandise without their consent. Fifty-Six Hope Road Music, a clothing company that is partnered with Marley's estate, argued that consumers would confuse unofficially licensed merchandise as being endorsed by the Marley family.
