For one of the most ambitious covers yet, music supervisor Bob Thiele Jr. had to rework Queen's 1975 classic "Bohemian Rhapsody." Not exactly the easiest of tasks. However, as per usual for the show, Thiele turned to The Forest Rangers, the band responsible for turning "Gimme Shelter" and "John the Revelator" into perfect matches for the biker drama. -
New Usher Album, 'UR,' Delayed Indefinitely
Usher fans may have to wait a little longer to hear the pop star's next album. In an interview with Billboard, the singer said that he's taking some more to work his next effort, titled UR, which was reported to be coming out later this year. -
Ty Segall Debuts Interactive Music Video For Manipulator [SCHEDULE]
Segall's label, Drag City, debuted the colorful, papier-mâché video on YouTube today, but there was a second option available on his website. Instead of just listening to the video, fans can "manipulate" certain objects in the video. This trippy feature allows the viewer to change colors of the background, pictures on the wall and even see what's inside Segall's cartoon head. The interactive nature of the video works well with Segall's bouncy, synth-heavy track. -
Sam Smith Talks About Creating 'Stay With Me'
In a recent interview with NME, the soulful Sam Smith dished out some details behind his hit song, "Stay With Me." Along with two collaborators, Smith said it only took about 30 to 40 minutes to write what would become a tune that has been at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 for more than 20 weeks. "The song just flowed out of us so naturally," Smith said. -
Damien Rice Announces New Album, Teases Title Track [LISTEN]
It's been eight years since the Irish folk singer Damien Rice released an album, but it looks like the wait is over. Rice announced the new album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, today (Sept. 8) via Facebook. The Rick Rubin-produced album will be Rice's third studio effort and will available Nov. 11 on Warner Brothers Records. -

In a three-minute YouTube video title "Parakeet," a slew of celebrities and musicians try to find out why the Adams' newest effort, which drops tomorrow (Sept. 9), is killing innocent birds. The clip opens up on Gary Shandling fielding a call as the singer's manager from Jeff Garlin, a disgruntled fan whose bird just died from "listening to Ryan Adams new album, which is just such an emotional album." -

The Afghan Whigs To Reissue Classic 1993 Album 'Gentlemen'
The Afghan Whigs have announced that they will essentially be throwing their 1993 album Gentlemen an awesome 21st birthday party in the form of a reissue this October. According to the band's website, fans will have the opportunity to buy a deluxe edition of the album, which will be released under a new title: Gentlemen at 21.
