Cat Power, Stars, And More To Play New York's Modern Sky Festival
The line-up for the very first Modern Sky Festival in New York City has been announced through the festival's website. Headliners include Cat Power, Liars, Stars, the Both (Aimee Mann and Ted Leo), and the Blood Brothers, who have reunited this year after splitting back in 2007. Some of the festival's other acts include a special tribute to Nigerian funk musician William Onyeabor featuring as of yet unannounced special guests, as well as a number of rock and electronic artists from China to fill out the rest of the line-up. The festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5 at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. -

'2776' features more than 80 comedians, musicians and actors who got together to record songs about this crazy place we call home.
