U2 Surprise Release New Album 'Songs of Innocence' After Apple iPhone 6 Announcement
The introduction of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iWatch wasn't the only major news coming out of Apple's big live stream announcement today (Sept. 9), there's also a new U2 album. At the closing of the Apple event, U2 performed a new single, announced a new album and simultaneously released the LP, titled Songs of Innocence, to every iTunes user for free. iTunes users can now go into their music library and listen to the new 11-song album now. -

Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine reportedly getting senior positions at Apple as part of Beats deal
As previously reported, Apple is in the works to acquire Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine's Beats for a reported $3.2 billion. According to The Wall Street Journal (via XXLMag), the deal includes incentives that would give the duo senior positions at the company. -
