Omar Souleyman has announced that his new album, Bahdeni Nami, will drop on July 28 and will feature assistance from more mainstream fans such as Four Tet, Modeselektor (and later remixes to come from the Black Lips' Cole Alexander), according to Pitchfork. Souleyman has been a mainstay in his homeland of Syria for years as a celebrated wedding party singer, and has gathered Western appreciation in recent years thanks to acclaimed releases such as 2013's Wenu Wenu. -

Hip-hop duo Run The Jewels have shared the music video for their single "Blockbuster Night, Pt. 1," which you can check out below. The Trevor Kane-directed clip casts El-P and Killer Mike as EMTs during a nightshift down in Mike's hometown of Atlanta, though they appear to be much better at rapping than saving people's lives (they even go so far as to flip off an old man who's clearly having a heart attack). Fellow Atlantan Cole Alexander of the Black Lips makes a brief cameo. -

Black Lips releases tracklist for upcoming album 'Underneath the Rainbow'
Atlanta rock band Black Lips have announced their seventh studio album Underneath the Rainbow. According to Rolling Stone, the 12-song effort was recorded this year both in New York with the Budos Band's Tommy Brenneck and in Nashville with the Black Keys' Patrick Carney.
