It has been four months since Brian Williams was suspended from anchoring NBC Nightly News and still there is no solid decision on his future with the network. Earlier this year Williams was caught "misremembering" his own war-time reporting and the network decided to make him sit out six months without pay while they scrambled to reassure the public that their reporters are indeed credible. While it still seems rather unlikely that Williams would reclaim his old seat anchoring the competitive evening news, NBC is still looking for a way to keep him in house -

While Brian Williams may currently be off the air due to a six month suspension by NBC, he has spent the last few months willingly pulling out of other previously scheduled appearances.
