About a week after learning that he would not be indicted for the Aug. 9 shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, Darren Wilson ironed out the details and resigned from the Ferguson Police Department. Wilson agreed with the department that it is in everyone's best interest that he not serve and protect in Ferguson again. His being on the streets would only put him as well as other officers at risk. While it seems unlikely that Wilson will patrol anywhere again, he has still retained his badge — and that is something the National Bar Association is not happy about. The country's oldest and largest group of African-American attorneys and judges have filed a nine-page petition requesting that Wilson be completely stripped of his badge. The official petition is requesting that the Missouri Department of Public Safety revoke Wilson's badge. While under oath, Wilson insisted that during his altercation with Brown he had feared for his life, but some naysayers believe the officer got away with murder. -
Hugh Hefner Distances Himself from 'Good Friend' Bill Cosby Amid Allegations of Sexual Molestation Occurring at the Playboy Mansion
Whether Bill Cosby is guilty or innocent almost does not matter when it comes to his career. His name has already been tarnished enough that even longtime affiliates are taking three big steps back from the actor just in case he really did sexually assault more than two dozen women.Last week, Judy Huth not only accused Cosby of molesting her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, but she actually filed a police report. The statute of limitations will make it impossible for the actor to face any legal repercussions, but it does light a fire under the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate and, in doing so, it could possibly unearth other, much younger victims. For a long time Cosby called Hugh Hefner one of his best friends and it did not take the Playboy mogul long to respond to Huth's allegations.Apparently, Hefner wants to make sure that everyone understands that if anything criminal occurred at the mansion, it certainly was not OK with him. -
Bill Cosby's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Vandalized with Graffiti - LAPD Begins Investigation Starting at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion
It seems like not a day goes by when we aren't hearing some new nugget about the ongoing accusations of sexual misconduct against Bill Cosby. Just yesterday, we learned that Judy Huth, the woman who alleges that Cosby molested her when she was only 15 years old back in 1974, actually went and filed a police report. While the statute of limitations in her case may ultimately be up, what this does is open the door for a full investigation, something that the LAPD is ready to do, hopefully starting with some help from Hugh Hefner. -
Has Kim Kardashian Already Met with High-Powered Divorce Attorney Despite Kris Jenner's Opposition?
Being married to Kanye West has to be more than a little bit difficult, and from what we are hearing Kim Kardashian might just be ready to ignore her mother Kris Jenners's advice and throw in the towel. Just a few short weeks after swapping vows in May, West admitted that being married was already a challenge, and it seems that these last few months have only made things rockier between the two. West seemed to send a pretty clear message by leaving the country for Thanksgiving, but as it turns out, Kardashian may have met with a divorce attorney early in November.According to a source for Radar Online, Kardashian had an elevator blocked off so she could meet discreetly with a high-powered Los Angeles divorce attorney. Apparently, Kardashian expects that a split will get messy, and her biggest concern is the inevitable fight for custody of North West. As it is, West is saying that he intends to move to Paris and make it his permanent home beginning early next year. He is planning on bringing his daughter with him even if Kardashian wants to stay behind in L.A.This type of controlling behavior is one of the things that has reportedly driven Kardashian away from West. She assumed that once they were married things would improve, but just like in her two previous marriages, she has learned the hard way that making it legal changes nothing. In fact, if anything she has just made things more difficult. The fallout from her marriage to Kris Humphries was so disastrous that Jenner has reportedly warned her daughter that her career cannot handle another divorce. -
Bill Cosby Sued for Alleged Sexual Assault on 15-Year-Old Girl
Just when you thought it could not get any worse for fallen comedian Bill Cosby, it has. He is now being sued by a woman named Judy Huth, who is 55. She is alleging that back in 1974 Cosby molested her when she was only 15. While most cases that involve Cosby are impossible to legally prosecute in any way because of the statute of limitations having expired, this one is apparently different.According to TMZ, Huth filed her suit in Los Angeles County Court, saying that she and a friend met Cosby in a park where he was filming a movie. He befriended the girls and invited them to a party at the Playboy Mansion, instructing them to lie about their ages if anyone asked. Huth alleges that Cosby played pool and made her drink a beer every time he won a game. He then guided her toward a bathroom that was off a bedroom, and when she came out Cosby asked her to sit beside him. Huth alleges that after doing so, the actor molested her. -
Kris Jenner Insists that Another Divorce Would Kill Kim Kardashian's Career
Kim Kardashian's track record for love has been less than stellar. With two divorces already under her belt, she tends to choose the wrong men. While Kardashian has claimed that Kanye West is her true love and perfect match, we are hearing that behind the scenes things are hardly smooth between them. In the past, whenever Kardashian's relationships have gotten tricky, she would start to look for an exit plan, but momager Kris Jenner has already forbidden her from doing it this time, according to WebProNews.According to Radar Online, Jenner has already told her daughter that her career will never survive another divorce. As it is, whatever remaining fans she has still tend to think that Kardashian's second ill-fated marriage to Kris Humphries was more for their reality show than anything else. She cannot afford to have fans contemplating out loud whether or not she married West just to gain more fame while hoping to become better respected in Hollywood. -
Bill Cosby Laughed About Recent Allegations While Performing at a Women's Rape Charity Event in the Bahamas
Nearly every day for the last two weeks another woman has come out of the shadows to accuse Bill Cosby of everything from groping to full-blown rape. While his attorney is insisting that Cosby is nothing more than a victim of a horrific smear campaign, the industry is definitely fearing otherwise. NBC killed a new sitcom that had been in development and Netflix has shelved Cosby's latest stand-up gig that was filmed for them. At first, it was thought that Cosby's stand-up shows would survive these allegations, but many venues have begun canceling gigs into next year, indicating that the comedian may not come out of this with an active career intact.Late last week, Cosby did do a scheduled show in the Bahamas — and ironically enough the proceeds went to benefit a women's charity. The organization that he came out to support works with rape victims and domestic violence victims and provides counseling for both. No doubt Cosby was glad that this show went on because it made him look supportive of women's issues rather than an alleged abuser. What was appalling was that during this show Cosby found some crocodile tears for the slew of allegations against him and even joked onstage about his current battle in the public eye."Parents are coming and taking their children home, saying to me, 'Bill Cosby, you are an evil man! We will never eat your Jell-O pudding again!'" said Cosby to an audience that thought his jokes were hilarious. -
NBC Puts the Brakes on New Bill Cosby Comedy Series After Netflix Shelves Special That Was Scheduled to Begin Streaming Next Week
It has been a devastating day for business in the life of comedic legend Bill Cosby. In the last several days he has watched as several old rape claims against him have been met in the media by a new rash of claims from women who have now gone on the record to tell their own alleged personal accounts of suffering at his hands. At first, Cosby's attorney simply denied that his client had done anything wrong and then insisted these old claims were baseless. But by late last night things shifted when the self-proclaimed world's first supermodel, Janice Dickinson, said Cosby had raped her back in 1982. Cosby's attorney came out swinging, but it was too late to save two new projects he has been working on.First, Netflix announced that it is shelving a special show Cosby had already filmed for it. It was scheduled to begin streaming next week and it is now on hold. If Cosby somehow pulls out of this scandal with his career at all intact, then there is a chance Netflix will show his special. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case for Cosby's other deal.NBC was working on a new Cosby project that would have been executive produced by "The Cosby Show's" Tom Werner. In it, Cosby was supposed to star as Jonathan Franklin, head of a multigenerational family, who would use his humor and life experience to guide his daughters, sons-in-law and grandkids. It kind of sounded like an updated spin on the formula that worked so well 25 years ago. Unfortunately, it will never see the light of day because NBC has killed it completely. -
Tracy Morgan's Career in Doubt While He Attempts to Recover from a Severe Brain Injury
Five months after actor-comedian Tracy Morgan's limo bus was struck by a speeding Wal-Mart truck on the way back from a gig at a Delaware casino, we are learning more details about the devastating accident. Morgan is thought to be fortunate to have survived the accident that killed fellow comedian James McNair because he suffered a subdural hematoma, which kept him comatose with bleeding around his brain.Morgan and three others have filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart, and attorneys for both sides met behind closed doors yesterday. Morgan's attorney, Benedict Morelli, gave the press an update on Morgan's condition and a realistic view of his prognosis."He's fighting to get better, and if there's a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he's going to try to do that. He's still fighting and trying to live his life at the same time and trying to get better, and he's just not better. We're hoping and praying to get him back to where he was. But the jury's out. He had a very, very bad brain injury. Let's assume for a moment that he can go back and do everything that he was able to do before. When is that going to be? A year from now? Two? Three? I don't know. Six months? I doubt it," said Morelli. -
Kylie Jenner Skips Her Sister Kendall's Birthday Celebration as Their Fighting Over Fame Intensifies
It has to be tough being the youngest member of the Kardashian family. Kylie Jenner is in the unfortunate position of trying to figure out what to do with her life, with the expectation that she will forge a successful career in the spotlight. It is not that she has to be great at something — she just needs to remain a marketable commodity to keep her momager Kris Jenner happy. Unfortunately, Kylie's slightly older sister Kendall Jenner has forged a successful, high-fashion, modeling career and that puts even more pressure on Kylie to figure her life out — quickly. The once-inseparable sisters are now reportedly barely on speaking terms, with Kylie skipping Kendall's birthday lunch yesterday afternoon, Nov. 3.According to a report by Radar Online, Kylie feels like once her sister's modeling career took off, she completely abandoned her and all the joint plans that had been made between them. In the early days of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," the two were marketed together, but now they basically waste time fighting over fame, trying to one-up each other. -
Kanye West Is Ready to Move to Paris with North West, Leaving Kim Kardashian Behind to Focus on Her Image and Career in LA
Kim Kardashian has not exactly had much success when it comes to love. Kanye West is her third husband, and the fact they share a daughter, North West, might be the main thing that prevents her from pulling the plug on their already shaky union. The thing is, for once she is dealing with a man who is as headstrong and determined to do things their way as she is, so their clashes have been epic. According to "Radar Online," the most recent one occurred last week on the night of her birthday bash, and it left Kardashian completely reeling. West loves his life in Paris — do not forget he chose to abandon Kardashian for half her pregnancy in order to spend his time in the City of Lights — and has been dropping hints for a while now about wanting to relocate there full time. Until now, Kardashian has kind of shrugged off the idea because her life, family and career is based in Los Angeles, but finally it seems these two have hit a crossroads.
