  • Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Will Spend Christmas Together in L.A. After All

After several weeks of catching negative headlines regarding his marriage to Kim Kardashian, it looks like Kanye West is taking one for the team. Rather than spend Christmas in Paris like he reportedly wanted to, West will be with his wife and daughter in L.A., celebrating with the whole Kardashian family. That certainly is not the rapper's first choice in how to spend the holiday, but after completely skipping out on Thanksgiving he probably knew he needed to make an appearance. We told you the other day that this still newly married couple was at war over where to celebrate because West was determined to drag Kardashian and little North West to Paris for a special holiday celebration. That actually makes sense because we have heard for months now that he ultimately wants to move the family to France and make it their primary residence next year. Since he loves the City of Lights so much he likely would want to spend holidays there as well.
  • Is 'RHOA' Phaedra Parks Going to Bring Her Sons to Visit Ex Apollo Nida in Prison for Christmas?

Could it be that the holiday season is causing "The Real Housewives of Atlanta's" Phaedra Parks to soften her edges just a bit? Fans of the Bravo series have watched in recent weeks as Parks's marriage to Apollo Nida unraveled shortly before he turned himself in to begin serving an eight-year prison sentence last fall. With Nida safely tucked away behind bars, Parks has admitted that she has filed for divorce, and when it comes to her young sons visiting their father in jail, it was not exactly on her to-do list. At least, not until now. Now, according to a report by TMZ, Parks may actually be reconsidering her original stance and a visit to Nida in prison might be exactly the gift that his kids give him. In the past, Parks has said that because she is raising two boys who will turn into men, she does not want to normalize the idea of prison for them. She had feared them thinking it was OK to end up behind bars briefly, and that is definitely not the notion she wants them to ever entertain.Fans have been divided on Parks's treatment of Nida. He got caught up in an identity-theft scam and check fraud, and while he has owned up to his mistakes, he has also hinted that he was trying to take care of his family on a grand scale because of Parks setting that bar so high. Once he turned himself in, Parks distanced herself from him, and some fans seem to think that in doing so she has been a disloyal wife.
  • Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at War Over Where to Spend Christmas

It is starting to seem like Kim Kardashian's life with Kanye West is little more than a series of fights that carry on from one day to the next. The couple has barely been married for more than six months, and it seems that there is rarely any good news leaking out about them! We already know they were apart for Thanksgiving, with West opting to be in Paris rather than enjoying a big meal with his wife's family. Now it seems that Christmas is turning into an ugly battle as well.Fans of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" already know that once the holidays roll around, Kris Jenner traditionally pulls out all the stops. No matter what trouble is brewing between family members, everything seems to be shelved in favor of celebrating together. Kardashian is fully intending to spend Christmas at Jenner's home and she wants little North West to be able to enjoy the holiday with her cousins, Kourtney Kardashian's kids.Unfortunately, West has a totally different plan in mind. He wants to spend the holiday in Paris with his wife and daughter, where he can celebrate without Jenner's inevitable chaos and also get some work done. According to Radar Online, Kardashian is refusing to spend Christmas anywhere but at home together with her entire family. So far she is not considering a trip to Paris, and sources say that in Kardashian's mind it is not even an option.
  • The Feds Raided 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice's Home This Week, Taking Everything from Cash to Her Kids's Christmas Gifts

It looks like once again Teresa Giudice decided that following the rules did not apply to her, and boy, is she regretting it now. It was actually quite simple: The star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" was required to submit a payment plan to the court, mapping out how she and Joe Giudice intended to pay back the $214,000 they owed in restitution. But instead of doing that, Teresa ignored the situation and avoided making contact with the court, and the end result was a huge slap in the face by law enforcement, as the Giudice family home was reportedly raided earlier this week.According to Radar Online, since Teresa was not volunteering to set up a payment plan, then the feds barged in and took valuables, electronics and some hidden cash."Teresa was home and was absolutely stunned by the raid. She had no clue they were coming. She was absolutely hysterical and begging them not to take the girls's Christmas presents. A large amount of cash was found in the wine cellar. This all could have been avoided if Teresa had simply submitted a proposed plan to pay off the restitution. Yet Teresa chose to once again thumb her nose at the law, and was ignoring it," said a source.
  • Sierra Leone Cancels Public Christmas and New Year's Celebrations to Curtail the Ebola Virus

Only about 10 percent of all people who are living in Sierra Leone are Christians who will be celebrating this holiday season, but the government has already put necessary restrictions on the festivities due to the continuing Ebola outbreak. Sierra Leone is now the hardest-hit country, surpassing the illness and death that even Liberia has seen, and its leaders are scrambling to find ways to keep Ebola from spreading. That has led them to determine that public Christmas and New Year's celebrations are now banned.People are now forbidden from gathering in groups to celebrate as they normally would. Military personnel will once again take to the streets to make sure that groups of revelers are not gathering together, which would basically intensify the risk of spreading the virus to each other. This is just one more way the everyday lives of the people of West Africa have been disrupted by this epidemic. As of Dec. 10, Sierra Leone had recorded 8,000 cases of Ebola and nearly 1,900 deaths. In West Africa as a whole, more than 18,000 people have been infected, resulting in more than 6,500 deaths. Those numbers are pretty harrowing, but the truth is many at the World Health Organization feared they would be far higher by now.

  • LeAnn Rimes Is Still Trying to Convince Everyone That Eddie Cibrian Is Her 'Soulmate'

LeAnn Rimes has been making the media rounds to promote her new Christmas album, but of course the main topic of discussion always ends up being her marriage to Eddie Cibrian. At some point in time, Rimes may choose to simply make peace with the fact that people really do not like them as a couple and get on with her life, but she is not exactly there yet. Remember their reality show on VH1 last summer? The ratings were horrendous and Rimes and Cibrian seemed to think that mocking the press would be their ticket to getting fans back in their back pockets. Obviously, that was an epic fail.So Rimes is back to her more normal approach of praising her husband and hoping that her fans will forget how she has said that she fears he will eventually cheat on her. Remember, these two first hooked up while married to other people and, for whatever reason, it was an indiscretion that fans never accepted. In an interview with Mail on Sunday, Rimes explained:"I was meant to be with Eddie. Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they've grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that's impossible to turn around. Trust me, we both tried. Look, I've said 'I'm sorry' and made amends. Eddie is my soulmate — he and I completely get each other. We're opposites — I want to go shopping; he wants to ride dirt bikes — but we bring out the best in each other. Divorce is not an option for us. Obviously, if something horrible happened, I would have to take care of myself, but I don't see that happening."

The women trade off verses, and the variety of vocals really adds something special to the song.
  • Robert Earl Keen Band to Release Christmas Album 'Santa Is Real' [TRACKLIST]

The Robert Earl Keen Band used to treat Christmas tunes as a solemn addition to their show."Originally, it was a more somber affair," Keen told The Boot. "We'd perform these delicate instrumental Christmas songs, dressed in black suits, as background music to set the mood for the show."But things quickly changed for the better."After a few shows, we decided we needed to step it up and do something more upbeat," he said. "So we let loose a little and dressed up in hillbilly outfits and performed Bob Wills-y type versions of Christmas carols. People dug it. It went so well that after the set, Robert said, 'You guys need to make a record.' So we did!"Now, the REK Band has an instrumental Christmas album, "Santa Is Real," out this winter.
