While producers eventually decided to keep them as platonic roommates, those alternate scenes exist and Netflix viewers will get to see them. It is not like the show has been completely under wraps since ending in 2004. It garnered an average 20 million viewers for each of the 10 years that it ran on NBC, meaning it has been golden in the land of syndication. TBS currently runs episodes nearly every day and so do several local affiliates across the country.
