• Jon Stewart Raps Eminem To Mock New GOP Presidential Candidates

    Earlier this spring, noted political commentator and comedian Jon Stewart announced that he would be stepping down from his post as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, which he has been hosting for the past 17 years. One of the main reasons is that he didn't want to go through the madness of another presidential campaign cycle, which with another 17 months to go, is in full swing for both parties. He is not shying away from attacking the new candidates, notably the vast field of new GOP hopefuls. This past week saw the announcement of three new candidates on the right - Ben Carson, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina and Fox News commentator and 2008 candidate, Mike Hukabee. Stewart discussed their hopes or lack thereof with the aid of Eminem, rapping the lyrics to his classic 2000 collab with Dr. Dre "Forgot About Dre" and "My Name Is."
