David Bowie's Son Duncan Jones Slams Lady Gaga 2016 Grammys Tribute on Twitter
Lady Gaga performed her highly anticipated tribute to the late, great music icon David Bowie at the 2016 Grammys on Monday, Feb. 15, which resulted in a standing ovation from the crowd attending the ceremony. Unfortunately for Gaga, one important viewer didn't seem to enjoy the performance. Filmmaker Duncan Jones, Bowie's son, took to Twitter to voice his distaste for the tribute, which was actually a popular opinion of many sharing thoughts on the social media website last night. One of the more highly anticipated solo performances of the 2016 Grammys, Adele, came after a short tribute by Miguel for a Michael Jackson collaborator and another award for Alabama Shakes who have been cleaning up thus far. She came out to sing "All I Ask" from her record-breaking album 25, after being introduced by her collaborator on the song Bruno Mars.
