• Spinnin' Records Teases 2015 Plans with New Mix Featuring Martin Solveig, Oliver Heldens and More [LISTEN]

    Dutch dance music label Spinnin' Records has become one of the largest independent electronic labels in the world and has used its growing influence to help define trends within the genre. It is the label home for DJs like Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, DVBBS, R3hab, Nervo and more. It is the parent label for Sander van Doorn's Doorn Records, Afrojack's Wall Recordings, Tiësto's Musical Freedom and Showtek's Skint Records, in addition its own specialized sub-labels.The record label has released its 2015 outlook in a 73-minute mix that features 34 unreleased songs from various artists on its roster. Each song is given about a two-minute preview and maybe half have the artists or track names confirmed.     Diplo's burgeoning label Mad Decent has grown from a small label releasing music by Diplo and a few other artists to a growing empire that hosts dozens of events all across the United States and now a multi-day cruise. In its first year, the Mad Decent Boat Party took place in November from November 12 to 16. The boat cruise just released its short, but to-the-point after movie featuring plenty of footage of the beautiful oceans and beaches that the cruise guided its passengers to and some live footage from the event to make sure you know that music was played.
  • Skrillex Remix EP Released Early on iTunes [LISTEN]

    Rumored to be released later this month, according to Less Than 3, Skrillex’s remix EP for “Ragga Bomb” featuring Ragga Twins and “Ease My Mind” featuring Niki and the Dove has popped up early on iTunes for download. The two tracks come from Skrillex’s recent artist album "Recess," released in May.The remix package packs a punch with solid additions from Zomboy, Jai Wolf, GTA and Teddykillers.The first remix for Ragga Bomb featured a collaborative remix effort by Skrillex and Zomboy, which makes sense since they have similar styles. It is also interesting since there was speculation that there was a rift between the two over a potential copy by Zomboy of a Skrillex song.
