'SNL 40' Quickly Turned Into Its Own Pop-Culture Phenomenon
"Saturday Night Live's" 40th anniversary special probably served up the best 3 1/2 hours of live television we have seen in years. So many times in recent years the legendary show has fallen so flat that many longtime viewers have found themselves wondering why it is still on the air and why they even bother to tune in each weekend. Last night's special episode reminded us all just how magical "SNL" can be, and if you missed it, well, you have lost out on a bit of pop-culture history, especially since it quickly turned into its own pop-culture phenomenon. -
'Fifty Shades of Grey' on Track to Make $81.7 Million, Breaking Box-Office Record for Presidents Day Weekend
It seems that the curiosity over whether or not the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" would live up to the book series has amounted to box office success as E.L James's first installment of the series has had the biggest Presidents Day weekend opening in history. Thanks to Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson breathing life into the characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, the film has raked in almost $81.7 million since last Friday, Feb. 13. -
Seahawks May Have Made One of the Worst Plays in Super Bowl History to Lose Game While Ratings Soared

That intercepted pass, just one yard away from winning Super Bowl XLIX, will go down in history as one of the worst plays ever. At least Carroll has owned that the play call was entirely his idea, so ultimately he is the one responsible for handing the New England Patriots their fourth Super Bowl victory under coach Bill Belichick. But overall, the ratings soared. -
Bill Hader Hosted 'SNL's' Lowest-Rated Episode in 40 Years
Did you watch Bill Hader on Saturday Night Live this past weekend? You would think that as a former cast favorite the ratings would have spiked even a tiny bit higher then they have been in recent months. Instead the result was the absolute opposite. Hader's episode was the lowest in SNL's 40-year history- quite an accomplishment actually, but unfortunately it's one in the wrong direction.
