• Lorde, Jaden Smith, And Austin Mahone Among TIME's 25 Most Influential Teens Of 2014

    If the fact that she was recently parodied on two episodes of South Park wasn't enough proof that Lorde is a pretty influential cultural icon, TIME just listed the "Yellow Flicker Beat" singer among their second annual list of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014. They mention her two Grammy Award wins, her MTV VMA win, her inclusion on the Hunger Games soundtrack, the success of her debut album Pure Heroine, and her fight to promote healthy body image as reasons for her influence on the world this year.

    Jaden Smith is continuing on his fall quest to release as much music as possible. After dropping the bizarre single "Blue Ocean" and the more solid "Trophy" last week, the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith and brother to Willow released a new track yesterday (Oct. 6). Entitled "Fast," the new song is the first to receive a music video, and the young rapper/singer fittingly keeps things short, fast and to the point.

    After surprising everyone yesterday with the release of the experimental, seven-minute "Blue Ocean," Jaden Smith has shared yet another track from his upcoming mixtape Cool Tape Vol. 2. "Trophy" takes a more traditional, hip-hop approach than "Blue Ocean," with Jaden rapping over a simple, repetitive beat that finishes up after just two minutes. His flow needs a little work, but this is promising stuff, especially considering that he is just 16.
