  • Wiz Khalifa Samples Mac DeMarco For "Smoke Chambers" [LISTEN]

asdEven though he has no upcoming album or mixtape projects that we know about, Wiz Khalifa keeps dropping new songs, his latest being the exceptionally trippy and laidback "Smoke Chambers," which you can check out below. The song heavily samples fellow stoner Mac DeMarco's synthpop number "Chamber of Reflection" from his latest album Salad Days, even keeping DeMarco's original "alone again" vocal hook, which ties in to Khalifa's theme of the alienation his fame has brought him. This is the sort of hazy production that Khalifa should be using more often.

  • Jeezy Cleared of Weapons Charges Stemming from August Arrest

Jeezy will be able to sleep a lot better tonight. He as well as several members of his entourage were charged with gun possession. The "Seen It All" rapper has announced today that he was cleared of all charges stemming from the incident in California.Jeezy released the following statement regarding the event."I pray this had nothing to do with race, but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence. Words cannot express how vindicated I feel with these charges being dismissed today," Jeezy said in a statement. "While my team and I always knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts, the rush to judgment by both the media and the police has been extremely disappointing. I'm relieved that the truth has ultimately prevailed and I would like to thank those who have always stood by me, including my family and fans."
