Host Neil Patrick Harris bases his show on getting a celebrity to perform embarrassing acts in front of hidden cameras. He explains it as "Here's how it works, we hide a bunch of cameras somewhere and find a celebrity willing to do and say whatever I tell them," in the shows opening.
