Zac Brown Band Tops Billboard 200 Third Time with 'Jekyll + Hyde'
The Zac Brown Band found itself on top of the Billboard 200 for the third time with its new album 'Jekyll + Hyde.' Although it wasn't the group's biggest sales week (that goes to its last record, 'Uncaged') but it still managed to move 228,000 equivalent albums. The band has also been busy away from album sales, topping both the Country Airplay Chart and the Mainstream Rock Songs charts with different songs from the album. The only other act in Nielsen history to hit that mark was Bon Jovi. -
Blur's New Album 'The Magic Whip' Bests Josh Groban, Taylor Swift for No. 1 Spot in UK
Blur's first album together in 12 years The Magic Whip arrived in the U.K. with great fanfare last week - and the welcome return to music is reflected in album sales. Yesterday (May 4), the new LP was deemed as Blur's sixth No. 1 album in its home country, beating out recent releases from Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Proclaimers. -

We had a realization while watching the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight last night: Amid all the spectacle at the "fight of the century," the rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" turned in by Jamie Foxx was somewhat a spectacle unto itself. In fact, our national anthem can easily be converted into an overwrought piece of showmanship when handled awkwardly, and nowhere is it handled more awkwardly than at major sporting events. We decided to look at seven versions of the national anthem—from Josh Groban to Queen Latifah—from seven of the largest sporting events so far during 2015 and rank them for both talent and sincerity. -

Barbra Streisand's most recent album, 'Partners,' hit platinum status recently, bringing her total to 31. She is currently the queen of million-selling albums according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with Reba McEntire far behind at 19 platinum releases. It's her best-selling record since 2001's 'Christmas Memories.' -
Kevin Spacey, Tony Bennett and Boyz II Men Honor Billy Joel for Library of Congress Special [WATCH]
An all-star lineup showed up to pay tribute to Billy Joel in November and the PBS special aired last night (Jan. 2). The singer-songwriter received the prestigious Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by the Library of Congress. Boyz II Men, Kevin Spacey and Tony Bennett performed a few choice numbers while LeAnn Rimes, Josh Groban and Natalie Maines also joined in on the celebration. Joel took the stage for some of his tunes as well. -

The men took the cake on "Rising Star" with a strong begging, middle and end of the show thanks to Joshua Peavy, Austin French and Jesse Kinch. As for the females, they struggled a bit more to find comfort on stage, with some particularly wooden and frozen performances from Dana Williams, Maneepat Molloy and Shameia Crawford.
