A new supergroup has been formed, and it looks pretty awesome. Earl Sweatshirt and King Krule as well as Theresa Wayman and Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint and Jono Ma of Jagwar Ma recently collaborated for "an epic 12-hour all-night recording session" while on tour in Australia with the Laneway festival, Faster Louder reports. -

King Krule, one of Music Times' favorite artists of 2013, has released his latest music video for his track "A Lizard State" off last year's 6 Feet Beneath The Moon. The Jamie-James Medina-directed video pays tribute to Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 film Dial M For Murder and even got the go-ahead from Hitchcock's estate. -

Music Times, like so many other music publications, was looking to publish a "Best of 2013" playlist. We met to discuss what such a playlist should include, and that's where we ran into trouble. We couldn't agree. Sometimes two of us just couldn't agree on whether the performer was amazing or terrible, and even when we agreed they were amazing, we couldn't agree on what track was most representative of their work. Hence it was decided that rather than try to agree (a seemingly impossible endeavor), everyone would get their own "favorites of 2013" playlist. We won't argue that these are neccesarily the best tracks of the last year, but they're definitely songs that caught our respective attention and caused us to hit 'repeat" over and over and over again -

King Krule continued his late night circuit, appearing on Conan last night to perform another track of the album, "A Lizard State." Backing him was house band Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band, who infused the track with a bellowing horn section. -
