Jimmy Fallon wants to audition to play guitar for Fred Armisen's 'Late Night' Band
As previously reported, Jimmy Fallon is set to take over The Tonight Show next week, but might he also be heading back to Late Night? According to Vulture after hearing the news that Fred Armisen would join Seth Meyers on Late Night as its bandleader, Fallon solicited his former SNL castmate for an audition to play guitar in the band. "I gave [Fred] my e-mail today, and I said, 'I can play guitar!" Fallon told them. "So I have to audition, but I think I have an in. I'm always there for him, if he needs me. Absolutely. Whatever he needs."
