    Although they don't have a new album to support (at least not yet), Scottish alt-rock veterans Primal Scream have announced a brief North American tour to follow their appearance at Austin Psych Fest's Levitation Festival on May 9. According to Brooklynvegan, the band will hit New Orleans, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City, finishing up in Brooklyn on May 21.

    Canadian slack-rock hero Mac DeMarco will be setting out on a world tour in support of his latest album Salad Days. According to Pitchfork, the tour kicks off tomorrow, Jan. 15, in Tokyo, and takes DeMarco to South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico before he hits the US in April for Coachella. The tour ends in June with DeMarco's appearance at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee.

The song heavily samples fellow stoner Mac DeMarco's synthpop number "Chamber of Reflection" from his latest album Salad Days, even keeping DeMarco's original "alone again" vocal hook, which ties in to Khalifa's theme of the alienation his fame has brought him. This is the sort of hazy production that Khalifa should be using more often.
