Willie Nelson to Release Own Marijuana Brand That's 'Reflective of His Passion' for Cannabis

2 Chainz and Nancy Grace Debate Merits of Marijuana Legalization on HLN [WATCH]
Nancy Grace and her aggressive, controversy-causing show on HLN decided to have a discussion on the legalization of marijuana and invited onto the show for a back-and-forth on the issue to discuss the pros and cons with experts and ... 2 Chainz, who could be considered an expert in his own right. Nancy Grace dubs him one as she says, "I have seen a video of you smoking a big fat doobie."The whole segment is rather surreal as Grace and 2 Chainz — real name Tauheed Epps — argue over whether or not weed should be legalized in America. Grace continues to drive home her point that weed is dangerous and shows the same video of a parent who gives her 2-year-old weed to smoke, a terrible act for any parent to do. When she seems to be falling behind to Epps, the host falls back on the time-tested method by TV hosts outside hip-hop of bringing up choice lyrics to try and discredit him. Where is Cam'ron when you need him?But 2 Chainz counters by trying to drive home the economics of the situation, saying, "I just feel like if you legalize this particular drug, it could cut out certain things in the criminal justice system as far as the overcrowding of prisons ..."He goes so far as to give an example of a time when he had to go to court over shavings left in a grinder that was found in his bus, emphasizing the strain marijuana has on the legal system. -

CNN's Don Lemon Puts His Foot in His Mouth Again, This Time While Reporting from Ferguson
CNN's Don Lemon has been having a really rough time lately, and it basically has been his own doing. Last week he caught some major backlash after insinuating to Joan Tarshis, one of Bill Cosby's rape accusers, that she could have bit him to prevent the alleged assault. Now his reporting from Ferguson, Missouri, has also come under fire.Shortly after it was announced that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for fatally shooting 18-year-old Michael Brown, CNN's reporters were taking turns updating viewers at home on what was unfolding in front of them. Lemon and Anderson Cooper were discussing the chaos, and Lemon said that protestors were jumping on cars and he heard gunshots off in the distance. Then after a pause, Lemon followed up that assessment with:"Obviously, there's a smell of marijuana in the air."That detail was not obvious to anyone else, it seemed, as the rest of CNN's crew was too busy running for cover from tear gas and smoke bombs to notice any potential pot in the air. Once again, Twitter lit up with backlash against Lemon because he just cannot seem to keep from making insensitive comments on live television. -

Marijuana and Country Music: An Old Trend That Mainstream Listeners Are Just Realizing [VIDEO]
If you've enjoyed music produced by every scene ranging from '40s bebop to '90s grunge, you're aware that heroin has played a role. Ecstasy and "molly" use in the EDM scene have recently become a concern for parents and concert organizers after a rash of overdoses. However, marijuana has somewhat lost its edge. Although we don't encourage any drug use, a reference to taking a toke hardly raises an eyebrow, whether the artist is Sublime or Wiz Khalifa. One scene that's late to the party is country music, and a Billboard report indicates that those surrounding the traditionally family-friendly genre are concerned with a rash of weed references in popular country music.
