There may be a bromance emerging between the guys in Mumford & Sons and Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus. Just a few days ago, the musicians united onstage for a unique cover of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" and just when fans thought the bonding was a one-night-event, they reconvened for a private, nighttime gig on August 23. Rage Against the Machine front man Tom Morello also joined forces with Mumford and Hoppus for a rendition of Blink-182's staple hit, "What's My Age Again?" -

The new lineup is slated to perform at the Musink Festival later this month billed as "Blink-182 with Matt Skiba." -

However he clarified that the comments came in a moment of frustration for DeLonge and that they shouldn't be taken too seriously. The new news stems from a tweet that DeLonge sent after quitting/being fired from Blink earlier this week (the jury's still out on which it is). -

The group played both the Reading and Leeds Festivals this past weekend and reportedly ended the former performance just last night (Aug. 24) with some pyrotechnics and some good, old-fashioned toilet humor, according to NME.
