Groove Cruise Miami has unveiled the complete 2016 lineup and daily artist stage breakdowns with just a month and a half until the voyage sets sail. That is why it means something when he decided to speak out against having pyrotechnics in clubs after 27 people died and another 200 plus were injured in a club fire in Bucharest on Friday night as a result of pyrotechnics gone horribly wrong. -

The United Kingdom outpost of Insomniac's flagship festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, has announced its 2015 lineup. Entering its third year, the festival will be bringing back its cast of superstar international DJ talent to the famed Milton Keynes Bowl for a one-day celebration of electronic music. The festival will feature your standard DJ headliners in Hardwell, Tiësto and Steve Aoki, while the addition of Pendulum adds a nostalgic feel to the festival even if it is just a DJ set. -

Trance king and dance music heavyweight Armin van Buuren is coming back to New York City. This time for a one-night event, he will be headlining a pre-NYE show at Pier 94 on Dec. 29. -
DJMag's Top 10 DJ's of The Past Five Years: Music Times Calculates for Dutch Domination (and Hardwell Doesn't Even Appear!)
Just to further up the controversy, Music Times asks not who was the best DJ in the last year, but who was was the best DJ of the last five years? Our formula wasn't too complicated...we just averaged the rankings of everyone featured on the DJMag Top 100 list in the last five years. That does cause some major issues for some contestants however. Hardwell has been no. 1 for the last two years but he didn't place during 2010, suggesting a rank of at leads 101, and thereby making his mean ranking skyrocket. The name of our game is consistency. -
