Granted, all that really requires is the vocalist carrying a bag of golf clubs, as we assume the athlete can judge for himself how far away a green is (they have signs). According to Horan, McIlroy will appear with One Direction at a later date to perform at least one song onstage. -

One Direction recently went on Dutch TV to promote their new artist album 1D and after an interview with host Humberto Tan on RLT Late Night. They discuss a whole range of topics including their upcoming tour, success and Four, but also get a special surprise from Dutch DJ/producer Nicky Romero. The host had apparently asked Romero to pick out a song on the album of his liking and make a special edit of it just for show. Nicky Romero chose "18" and played the single remix for them on TV.
