An awesome piece of memorabilia has been put on Tumblr by the folks at Seattle music label Sub Pop. The piece of paper seems to be the original contract signed by Nirvana when it joined the label in 1988 (the contract was signed in '88, the actual term began in 1989). -

Rolling Stone magazine revealed on Tuesday just what would come with the new, 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana's "In Utero." The compilation will feature 70 tracks on three CDs, plus a DVD. The collection comes out September 24. -

Paul McCartney Tour: The Beatles Bassist Reflects on "Out There!" World Tour, Nirvana Jam
Paul McCartney is a huge draw on tour, and he still loves to do it. The former Beatles bassist recently did some recording in Seattle, where he invited former Nirvana members Dave Grohl, Krist Novolesic and touring guitarist Pat Smear onstage to rock out. McCartney did an interview with Rolling Stone where he discussed how much he still enjoyed playing old Beatles tracks, even the lesser known ones. -
'Kurt Cobain' Stars in 'Nirvana' Response To Virginia Tech Mascot's Request for Video Shout Out [WATCH]
A Virigina Tech student running for homecoming queen (and also apparently the face-behind-the-mask for the school's mascot), requested of music label Sub Pop that the band Nirvana send a video shout-out to support her cause. Although Nirvana's Kurt Cobain has been dead for nearly 20 years and the band disbanded as well, Sub Pop decided to grant the unnamed student's wish. -
