• Deadmau5 Agrees With Noel Gallagher EDM Criticism, Avicii Fires Back

Noel Gallagher, deadmau5 and Avicii all walk into a bar... It sounds the beginning of a terrible joke, but the three star artists have got themselves in a tangle of words after noted loudmouth former the Oasis member decided to slag the "Waiting For Love" producer during interviews at T In The Park Festival earlier this month. Avicii then decided to fire back at the "Wonderwall" artist with a lengthy Instagram post. The carnivorous deadmau5, always hungry for a little beef and ready to share his thoughts, penned a note on his tumblr page agreeing with the sentiments of Gallagher about many DJs being glorified CD players.
  • Glastonbury Organizer Emily Eavis Recieved Death Threats After Kanye West Booking

Glastonbury took a lot of flack from a group of rock loving, hip-hop hating fans when the world famous festival decided to book Kanye West as one of the headliners on the Pyramid stage. Within the first 48 hours, over 50,000 people signed a petition to have the "All Day" rapper replaced by a rock headliner. To date, over 134,000 people have signed that petition. However, the anger at the booking was not just reserved to a change.com petition, it apparently went much further then that. According to Glastonbury organizer, Emily Eavis, who has been the most vocal defender of the booking and supporter of Kanye West from the festival, she has received death threats because of it.
  • Oasis Guitarist Noel Gallagher Hates Being Confused for Brother Liam

Perhaps you've heard that neither Liam Gallagher nor Noel Gallagher have any interest in reforming Oasis, and you'd be correct to assume the pair are sick of being asked about it by the media. There's something that guitarist Noel hates even more however (also more than he hates when you pronounce his name "no-well"): people who can't tell the difference between he and his brother.

  • 8 Oasis No. 1 UK Hits: 'Don't Look Back In Anger,' 'The Hindu Times,' 'Lyla' and More

Oasis, the most essentially-British band of the last 30 years (by both their own reckoning and ours), finally topped the charts in the Gallagher brothers' beloved UK 20 years ago today, with the single "Some Might Say," the first song off of the band's beloved album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? The band ended up topping the UK singles charts seven more times throughout its career (and only getting as high as no. 8 on the U.S. charts). Here are those no. 1 singles...be prepared for a few surprises (in terms of what didn't make it, if anything).
  • Noel Gallagher's 'Chasing Yesterday' is Amazon's Best-Selling Album of 2015 So Far

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds currently have the bestselling album of 2015 on Amazon. 'Chasing Yesterday,' which was released last month, has sold more copies than efforts by Bob Dylan, Madonna and Mark Ronson on the online retailer. It also took the title of fastest-selling album, having done most of its damage in about a month.
  • Noel Gallagher Claims He Lost Millions as a Solo Act: Former Oasis Member Might Retire From Touring

After Oasis broke up in 2009, Noel Gallagher took some time off before he released his first solo album, 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.' He released the effort on his own label, Sour Mash, because he did not want to put up with majors anymore. The result was more independence and less money. "Everything I've done since I left Oasis has come from my own pocket," Gallagher told 'Loaded' recently. "You've got to pay for the tour, got to pay for the wages and you don't really break even for about nine months. I don't mean I lost money. I mean I lost a f**king s**tload of money. It was a few million, like. I had to lie to Sara [MacDonald, his wife] at first, and when I eventually did tell her, she freaked out -- I mean freaked out."
