Sasquatch! 2015 Packs Lineup with Kendrick Lamar, Robert Plant, Lana Del Rey, Modest Mouse and More
The Sasquatch! Music Festival has announced its lineup for 2015, once again avoiding "white whale" headliners but gathering appealing names nonetheless with Kendrick Lamar, Modest Mouse and Robert Plant (who we'll assume will be playing with his Sensational Space Shifters band, although the official poster doesn't say). The festival will once again take place over four days (as it did during 2011-'13) and will once again be held over Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25) at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. -

Belle & Sebastian Extend World Tour, Perfume Genius and Real Estate to Open [FULL SCHEDULE]
Belle & Sebastian's upcoming studio album, 'Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance.' is set for release next week and in support of the album, the band has extended their world tour with a new string of North American tour dates for the spring. According to reports, the first North American leg of the tour kicks off on March 30 in Boston and finishes up in on April 18 with the band's second appearance at Coachella 2015, while the second leg kicks off on June 9 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and finishes up on June 18 in Kansas City. Singer-songwriter Perfume Genius will be opening for six dates, while New Jersey indie rock band Real Estate will be opening on two dates. -

The National covered Perfume Genius' "Learning" in conjunction with the band's new cover song contest
The National recently announced a Valentine's Day-oriented covers contest in which fans can submit their own version of "I Need My Girl" in hopes of winning a $500 prize. In honor of that endeavor, they have now released a cover of their own with a version of Perfume Genius' (Mike Hadreas) song "Learning."
