More festival news out of Austin today, Jan. 22, regarding the iHeartRadio Country Festival. Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley have been tapped as the headliners for the second annual event, which kicks off May 2. Rascal Flatts Announce 'Riot Tour' for Summer 2015
Country superstars Rascal Flatts have announced that they will set off on a North American tour following the conclusion of their Las Vegas residency in March. According to "The Boot," the Riot Tour kicks off May 29 in St. Louis and will see the group visiting 32 cities, including one stop in Toronto and one in Cozumel, Mexico. Scotty McCreery will be joining the group on tour as a special guest. -

We at Music Times have, at best, a tenuous connection with college athletics. We write about music. At the same time, nothing is trending like the first ever NCAA College Football Playoff. The University of Alabama and University of Oregon held tight to their top spots in the bracket of four, Florida State slid up one spot after a close game with Georgia Tech and Ohio State jumped into the last available spot with a crushing victory over Wisconsin. The Rascal Flatts just finished up their summer arena and stadium "Rewind" tour across the United States and are already serving up some new shows to fans. They just announced a new residency in Las Vegas at the Vegas output of the Hard Rock Hotel starting next year according to Rolling Stone. The Rascal Flatts will start their nine-concert residency at the Joint, a 4,000-seat venue inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. -
