"R8" is looking to be a banger.

    Fresh off of his Golden Globe win — and as of this morning, Academy Award nomination — for his song "Glory" from the movie "Selma," Chicago rapper Common has dropped a new verse on Stacy Barthe's "Live for Today," which you can check out below. As its title implies, the song is about seizing the day and not waiting around for moments of greatness to come, with Common asking, "I know the world is changing / But I'm still in my mind, where the peace be?" Following the leak of an alleged Rihanna single "World Peace" last week, today (Jan. 5), RiRi posted an ominous Instagram image indicating that she'll be birthing a new album in 2015.

The Los Angeles artist told Billboard in a recent interview that there was more music between himself, Kanye West, Paul McCartney and even Rihanna — if you can wrap your head around all of that.

  • Unreleased Rihanna Song 'World Peace' Leaks

    Fans are patiently, or impatiently, waiting on a new album from Barbados pop star, Rihanna. It is widely believed and speculated that the follow up to 'Unapologetic' will arrive in 2015, after a three-year drought in album releases. The "Diamonds" star is kicking off 2015 with fresh speculation about new music as an unreleased track, "World Peace," has leaked out onto the web. It is unknown whether or not this is actually album material or just an unreleased demo that has managed to make its way out of the Rihanna camp.

  • Rihanna Signs On As Puma's New Creative Director

    Rihanna has long been considered a style icon. Now the seven-time Grammy Award winner has been named the creative director of Puma. According to Women's Wear Daily, her role will be overseeing the brand's women's line. She flew to Herzogenaurach, Germany, earlier this week to get started. During her first creative session with the design team, she picked out colors and styles while discussing the line's direction.
