This was the perfect time to ambush them on the red carpet for interviews and pry loose details about what lies in store for many of the biggest artists in the world during the upcoming year. One of the hottest new names in the music business right now, ILoveMakonnen (real name Makonnen Sheran) was stopped by MTV before he managed to get inside for the pre-telecast and asked him about his plans in 2015. The "Tuesday" rapper revealed he is working with some really big names including Rihanna, Drake, Snoop Dogg, Diplo and Skrillex. -

The 2015 Grammy Awards drew some tough critics. Kanye West led the charge, storming the stage when Beck won the the award for Album of the Year over Beyoncé and going on a rant after the show. Most of the rap and hip-hop community felt let down this year and they weren't afraid to post online about it. Snoop Dogg was particularly upset, citing the fact that some of the genre's greats have less wins then Macklemore. YG and Trey Songz joined in, but they were arguing on a personal level. -
Man Dead Following Pre-Grammys Shooting Outside Los Angeles Club, Where Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa Were Partying
One man was shot dead outside a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles last night, Feb. 7, after a reported argument. According to TMZ, two men were involved in a dispute outside the Supperclub. The fight resulted in the shooting death of one man. An array of hip-hop talent was in the club, including Wiz Khalifa, Schoolboy Q, DJ Paul and Snoop Dogg. -
Grammys 2015: T.I. Predicts Iggy Azalea Will Win Best Rap Album Award
T.I. is no stranger to Grammy glory. The rapper took home the 2006 Best Rap Solo Performance for "What You Know" in addition to Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Justin Timberlake for "My Love." He was also part of the big group win in 2008 for "Swagga Like Us." This year, T.I. is predicting that his girl, Iggy Azalea, will take home the award for Best Rap Album because of the commercial success she has had thanks to the effort. Overall, though, the Atlanta rapper thinks there needs to be some changes so the hip-hop community is represented properly. -

Yesterday, Feb. 4, was Signing Day for high school athletes ready to commit to their future collegiate alma maters. It was a big day for Snoop Dogg and an even bigger day for his son Cordell Broadus. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver chose UCLA as the college he will be attending to play football for in the fall. Fans of the rapper were able to watch Broadus's achievements on the field recently on "Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream," an ESPN reality series. Broadus had narrowed down his choices to UCLA and USC, the latter being his father's favorite team. The young player chose the Bruins. -
Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar Spotted in Studio Together
Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg are hard at work on their own respective albums, and it appears there may be some collaboration being done between them. Snoop Dogg posted on his Instagram a simple photo of him and fellow West Coast representative K. Dot in the studio with the caption "Work." It is not clear what they are working on, but speculation says it could be a feature on Snoop's upcoming album "Bush" that is being produced by Pharrell. -

Nowadays, you don't have to wait until Super Bowl Sunday to watch those highly anticipated commercials. They're been surfacing online all week. It's really such a weird concept that we try to skip commercials every other day of the year but we tune in especially for them during the Super Bowl - but I digress. The latest celebrity-featuring commercial comes courtesy of Snoop Dogg and Gilbert Gottfried to promote a new food app called Eat24. The app brands itself to be a "food truck in your pants" and works to combat hangur. -
Snoop Dogg Drops New Verse on iLoveMakonnen's "21st Street" Remix [LISTEN]
Atlanta rapper ILoveMakonnen has shared a remix of his song "21st Street" featuring a new verse from Snoop Dogg, which you can check out below. The song originally appeared on Makonnen's 2014 mixtape Drink More Water 3, and again on Drink More Water 4, and according to XXL, this new remix was promised last year, when Makonnen shared its artwork (seen up above) through his Twitter account. The track features some pretty solid atmospheric production courtesy of DJ Spinz and Dun Deal, but Snoop is the real star here, delivering his verse with the same type of precise yet still relaxed flow that he's famous for. -

Pharrell Williams's Signature Hat on Display at the Grammy Museum Through March
Remember that strange hat Pharrell Williams wore to the Grammys last year? Of course you do. The producer/singer auctioned off the famous cap after the ceremony, raising nearly $45,000 for his charity From One Hand to Another. Fast food chain Arby's won the bid and has now lent the hat to the Grammy Museum, which will put it on display until March 15 in an exhibit titled the Grammy Effect, "Billboard" notes.The hat served as a lucky charm for the singer last January. He took home the Best Record of the Year Award for "Get Lucky," Album of the Year for "Random Access Memories" and Best Pop/Duo Performance with Daft Punk for the stellar track. He also performed a medley of tunes with Daft Punk, Niles Rodgers and Stevie Wonder.Pharrell will look to duplicate last year's success at next month's award ceremony. His 2014 solo effort "GIRL" is up for Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album. The monster lead single "Happy" is nominated for Best Pop Performance and Best Music Video. -

Congratulations go out to Snoop Dogg and his family, who recently welcomed a new member into the clan. Snoop's oldest son Corde Broadus became a father yesterday, Jan. 14, to son Zion. The new grandpa missed the birth, but he shared photos of the newborn on Instagram to help welcome the newest Broadus, "XXL" notes."Zion. U have a lot of love waitin on u grandson!!"
