A rare set of Beatles recordings called The Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963 became available this morning for $40 on iTunes, Rolling Stone reports. They note that the rare material may have been released simply to establish copyrights for its recordings. European Union copyright laws stipulate that the band and their label may own the recordings for a total of 70 years only if officially published, according to the article. -
