"Music Times" had the chance to speak with Bob Thiele Jr., music supervisor of FX's "Sons of Anarchy," a few weeks ago about his journey in music in television so far. He created another character on the hit show, which was the episode-ending montages that were often some of contemporary music's most-beloved songs.Well, that never scared Thiele, The Forest Rangers or vocal guests like Curtis Stigers and Paul Brady away. 'Sons of Anarchy' house band The Forest Rangers transformed Bob Dylan's classic "All Along the Watchtower" into a bluesy epic at the end of October for FX's hit show. Tomorrow night (Nov. 11), the group will dive back into the "Like a Rolling Stone" singer's catalog and dust off his 1964 ballad "Boots of Spanish Leather" with a little help from Amos Lee. -

The Forest Rangers Cover Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' for 'Sons of Anarchy'
For one of the most ambitious covers yet, music supervisor Bob Thiele Jr. had to rework Queen's 1975 classic "Bohemian Rhapsody." Not exactly the easiest of tasks. However, as per usual for the show, Thiele turned to The Forest Rangers, the band responsible for turning "Gimme Shelter" and "John the Revelator" into perfect matches for the biker drama.
