• Lorde Enlists Kanye West, Haim, Charli XCX for 'Hunger Games' Soundtrack

    Back in September, it was reported that Lorde and Kanye West were working on some new music together, and today we have learned why. "Consequence of Sound" reports that Kanye has provided a remix of Lorde's "Yellow Flicker Beat" for the soundtrack to the upcoming "Hunger Games" movie, which Lorde has curated. Other artists appearing on the soundtrack include Charli XCX, Haim, Bat for Lashes, Pusha T, Q-Tip and CHVRCHES.

    Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine was one of the most popular albums of 2013, and today the “Royals” singer has confirmed that she is currently in the studio, possibly working on her follow-up. On her Instagram account this past Friday, Aug. 29, Lorde posted a close-up photo of a candle in front of a mixing board, with the caption, “i always remind myself to bring a candle for the studio and finally i did today and ohhhhhhh.” You can check out the Instagram photo below.

According to a press release, the "Royals" singer will now be bringing her tour to Atlanta before making a stop at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. She will also be playing additional show at the Greek Theatres in Berkley and Los Angeles.
