Bobbi Kristina's Boyfriend Nick Gordon Is Doing Well in Rehab as Criminal Investigation Continues
Bobbi Kristina Brown being found face down in a bath tub back in January has served as a catalyst for several other situations. Nick Gordon, her boyfriend of several years is currently under investigation as police still try to piece together exactly what happened to Brown. We know that the family banned him from visiting her and that led to Gordon publicly unraveling. He sat for an interview with Dr. Phil last month that was actually an intervention. Gordon has spent the last four weeks in rehab while Brown's condition has remained unchanged. -
'RHOA's' Apollo Nida Claims That Phaedra Parks Was Cheating Before He Went to Prison
The season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta that's currently airing is giving fans a front row seat to watch the unraveling of Phaedra Parks' marriage to Apollo Nida. It's one thing to hear rumors of him threatening to burn down their family before he ultimately turned himself in to begin serving a long prison sentence, it's another to actually see the felon in action. There have been moments in recent weeks when Parks appeared afraid of Nida, but none like on last nights' episode when she and her sons fled their home. -
Halle Berry Is Ready to Divorce Hot-Headed Olivier Martinez
This time last year there were some serious rumors about Halle Berry having split from her new husband Olivier Martinez. The couple had just welcomed a new baby, but they were rumored to be separated and there were no real sightings of them together until just last month, when they showed up at a theme park in Paris looking all loved up. Unfortunately, Martinez allegedly got into a physical altercation at LAX a few weeks ago that has once again left their union on shaky ground. -
'Saved By the Bell's' Dustin Diamond Arrested for Stabbing Man in Christmas Bar Fight
There are always a handful of celebs that, when their name comes up, you know that there will be nothing positive attached to it. Former Saved By the Bell star Dustin Diamond is one of those people, so naturally the latest drama surrounding him is as dysfunctional as ever. Apparently the former actor decided to make sure that this Christmas was one of his most memorable to date, because he ended up in a jail cell. -
VH1 Aired PSAs to Make Sure that Viewers Realize that the Network Is Against Domestic Violence During the 'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' Reunion Shows
So many people tuned in to VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" reunion shows this week to catch a glimpse of Masika Kalysha Tucker and Yung Berg together. We already know that just a few short hours after the taping the couple got into a violent altercation that lead to Tucker telling NYPD police officers that Berg dragged and hit her before choking her out. In the weeks that followed, Tucker may have flip-flopped on what she said happened, but VH1 made sure everyone tuning in knew its position. It played a public service announcement from No More, showing various celebrities speaking out about domestic violence, and then they informed viewers of Berg's arrest shortly after the taping. VH1 said that it does not condone the violence and immediately severed all ties with Berg, basically once again confirming that he has been fired from the cast of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood."As for Tucker and Berg's status, after a brief break the two appeared to be back together, and she has tried to insist that everything was blown out of proportion on the night in question. The problem with that is the fact that he was charged based on her account of what supposedly transpired between them. -
Peaceful Protest Over Eric Garner's Chokehold Death Turns Violent in California
Thousands of protestors met up in big cities across the country yesterday for a fourth day of making their displeasure with law enforcement in NYC and Ferguson, Missouri known. Nearly two weeks ago Darren Wilson walked away indictment-free in the Ferguson shooting death of Michael Brown. This past weeks' decision of a grand jury not to indict Daniel Pantaleo in the Staten Island chokehold death of Eric Garner took things to a completely different level. After the video of Garner's saying that he couldn't breath moments before dying hit the internet most people expect some charges to stick to Pantaleo. When they didn't it prompted people that normally don't get involved to speak up and rally for change. The majority of the protests have been peaceful with the exception of one in California last night. -
'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' Reunion Show Preview Clip Shows Masika Tucker and Hazel-E Still Feuding Over Yung Berg
If you have followed VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" over the last few months then you're already familiar with the bad blood that has been brewing between Hazel-E and Masika Kalysha Tucker. The ladies started off as friends but it didn't take long for Tucker to decide that Hazel-E's relationship with Yung Berg was pretty one-sided. He basically said what he needed to in order to get what he wanted out of her and then totally disrespected her whenever anyone asked about their status. Tucker ultimately made a beeline for her good friend Berg and after months of building a relationship, the new couple finally comes face-to-face with Hazel-E on the reunion show which begins airing on VH1 next Monday night. -
Michael Brown's Ex-Con Stepfather Louis Head is Being Investigated for Inciting Ferguson Riots
By now I think nearly everyone has seen the video of Michael Brown's stepfather shouting into the crowd, "Burn this b**** down!" shortly after the grand jury announced its' decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson for the Aug. 9 shooting that killed the teen. While many have said that Louis Head, Brown's step-dad, wasn't actually inciting violence, he was just reacting to the pain in that moment, the Ferguson police department doesn't necessarily see it that way. -
Benzino Fired from 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' for Reportedly Making Death Threats Against Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez
Fans of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" were surprised recently to learn that Benzino and his love, Althea Eaton, were handed their walking papers from VH1's hit show. The firing came after a reunion show taping that turned violent when the always iffy Joseline Hernandez went nuclear on Zino and punched Eaton before taking extra shots at a few other cast members as well. Eventually, Hernandez and her man Stevie J were escorted from the building and the rest of the cast continued on, mainly discussing what addicts the two are. At the time it looked likely that they would be fired, as everyone was in complete agreement about how crazy violent Hernandez had become. Instead, Benzino and Eaton were canned and it is reportedly his fault.According to a new report by TMZ, Stevie J went to the producers and claimed that Zino had started a smear campaign that ultimately turned into flat-out death threats against himself and Hernandez. Stevie J is insisting that it was those threats that actually got Zino and Eaton fired because they were far worse than Hernandez's messiness and violent tendencies. Zino has yet to clap back and comment, but it is coming because he does like to take his gripes with anything related to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" straight to Twitter. -
'Love & Hip Hop's' Moniece Slaughter Accused of Bilking NBA Star Joe Smith Out of More Than $100K
"Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" would be really boring if everyone kept their noses clean, right? I am sure VH1 runs like a well-oiled machine on that belief, so every time one of its stars catches a negative headline, the execs must see extra dollar signs. This time around, it is Moniece Slaughter who is making waves. Sure, she has been known to have some violent tendencies on camera, but now an ex is accusing Slaughter of bilking him out of $109,000.According to a report by TMZ, former NBA star Joe Smith has filed a police report alleging that Slaughter wrote nine checks between October 2011 and March 2012 to a man named Timothy Clayton Carr. Smith claims not to know Carr and says he never wrote the checks either. Carr claims he cashed the checks for Slaughter because she said she did not have a bank account to do so herself. At least, that is what he told police in June 2012. Carr also claims not to have known that there was any issue at all until the final check he cashed for Slaughter ended up being canceled. -
Laura Ingalls Wilder's ' 'Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography' Will Be Published After Being Hidden for 84 Years
Fans of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books will be thrilled to learn that 57 years after her death a new, more realistic account of her life is headed into bookstores next week. Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography was actually written by Wilder long before she penned her classic Little House on the Prairie series, but she couldn't find anyone brave enough to publish it. Now Pamela Smith Hill, writer of Laura Ingalls Wilder: A Writer's Life, has edited the original manuscript and added in more true-to-life occurrences.
